An early morning walk on Anna Maria Island beach in Florida displayed the most beautiful shades of blue, both in the sky and in the ocean ♥ I was in love with those light blue reflections on the calm, deep ocean. This painting is a constant reminder of the beauty of a summer morning on the beach ♥

This is my original painting using acrylic paint in several shades of navy and light blues, mixed with gloss gel medium. I paint layer over layer over layer to create a bold texture, so touching this artwork feels like touching the waves. It is signed by me on the front lower right corner and also dated and signed on the back. It is finished with gloss varnish to protect from light exposure and dirt. It is stretched on 1,5″ wood frame and painted on its 4 sides, so there is no need to frame it. It is wired, ready to hang.
